Terms and conditions

1. General provisions

These terms and conditions govern the relationship between the seller – Golf in one, s.r.o., registered at Vajnorská 79, 831 03 Bratislava, Slovakia, company ID 36 674 699, VAT ID SK2022241947 (“the seller” or “Golf Universe”) – and the buyer ordering goods or services through golfuniverse.sk or in person at the shop.

The company is VAT registered. All retail prices are contractual, include VAT and are final. The supervisory authority is the Slovak Trade Inspection, Bratislava Region Inspectorate, Prievozská 32, P. O. BOX 5, 820 07 Bratislava.

2. Orders and contract formation

The purchase contract is formed when the buyer submits an order and the seller accepts it. We confirm acceptance by e-mail, usually within minutes. If nothing arrives within two hours, please check your spam folder or give us a call.

The buyer is responsible for the accuracy of the details entered. We can amend or cancel an order free of charge at any point before dispatch.

3. Prices and payment

You can pay by card at checkout, by bank transfer against an invoice, cash on delivery to the courier, or by cash or card when collecting in person.

Cash on delivery adds €1.50 to the delivery charge. For bank transfers we dispatch once the payment reaches our account.

4. Delivery

We ship with DPD, typically within 24 hours – that is, the next working day after dispatch. The courier will call or text you before delivery.

For orders under €100 delivery costs €7.99 including VAT. For orders over €100 delivery within Slovakia is free.

Collection in person is available at Galvaniho 35a, 821 04 Bratislava during opening hours. We normally have orders ready within two hours of confirmation.

Every parcel includes a tax document which also serves as the warranty certificate.

5. Withdrawal from the contract

Under Section 7 of Act No. 102/2014 Coll. on consumer protection in distance selling, the buyer may withdraw from the contract without giving a reason within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods.

Notice of withdrawal must be given in writing, including by e-mail to eshop@golfuniverse.sk. Return the goods undamaged, unused and unworn, ideally in the original packaging, by courier or in person to the shop address.

If goods come back incomplete, damaged or partly used, the seller may reduce the refund accordingly. We refund the purchase price within 14 days of withdrawal at the latest. Return shipping is at the buyer’s expense.

Beyond the statutory minimum we offer exchanges within 30 days of receipt – handy if the shoes or glove turn out to be the wrong size.

6. Warranty and complaints

Goods carry a 24-month warranty unless stated otherwise for a specific product. The warranty does not cover normal wear – notably grip wear, wedge groove wear and shoe outsoles.

You can raise a complaint in person at the shop or by sending the goods to the shop address together with proof of purchase and a description of the fault. We will let you know the outcome within 30 days at the latest.

7. Custom-fitted clubs and services

Clubs adjusted to your specification (length, lie angle, shaft, grip) count as goods made to the consumer’s individual requirements. Under Section 7(6)(c) of Act No. 102/2014 Coll. the right of withdrawal does not apply to such goods.

Delivery of custom-fitted clubs usually takes two to four weeks from payment, depending on component availability at the manufacturer. Your fitter will give you a non-binding estimate during the session.

8. Final provisions

Matters not covered here are governed by Slovak law. We aim to settle any dispute by agreement first; consumers have the right to approach an alternative dispute resolution body.

These terms take effect on 1 January 2026.
