A 21° 7-wood replaces a 4-iron and does it far more politely. The ball climbs, descends steeply and stops on the green, which is what long approaches actually need. Ping built it with high MOI, so heel strikes still get away. We recommend it above 15 handicap, but also to quick swingers wanting to plug the gap between hybrid and irons.
