TP5x is the only five-layer ball on the market, and the point is that each layer works at a different speed — a driver compresses all five, a wedge only the outer two. In practice you get low driver spin and high wedge spin, which is precisely the combination you want. It flies flatter with more run than a Pro V1, so firm fairways add a few metres. Best above 95 mph.
